Hey wus up people of the world! it has been a long time coming but the Amplified studio in Athi-River is actually completed.
Situated just outside the gates of Daystar University Athi-River campus, Amplified will be providing sound recording to all residents of Daystar and it's surrounding.
The official opening of the Studio will be sometime in January 2011. The actual date and time will be communicated through this blog later.
The Amplified team would like to thank Mark Nunn and Joe Herrmann, from In Tune for Life, for supporting us by providing us with acoustic foam, mic stands, headphones and microphone cables without which we may never have had the drive to build the studio. The equipment they provided will allow us to sound proof the studio and give us that professional edge over many other studios around Nairobi and Athi-River. We would also like to thank those that supported us by giving their time, labour and money. We would like to thank Amadu Monjeza for being key to the establishment of the studio. Thanks to all of you We Can Be Heard!!
